The Hill

I am back! My computer is all fixed!!
Though I did rather enjoy not having a computer... I wrote more, I played the piano more, and I read more. It was very lovely. :)

Oh! Speaking of playing the piano, I learned how to play "The Hill" by Markéta Irglová on the piano! It's also in the movie Once (see this post).

It's so beautiful, I love to play it... and sing along when no one else is home. =D
Listen: {to her playing it, not me. :P}

  1. Glad you're back! Maybe you should post your version of the song sometime. :-)

    Also, what did you get to read during your hiatus?

  2. Hehe, maybe someday... when I'm braver. :)

    Mostly I re-read books I hadn't read in a while: I read 'Spring Came on Forever' by Bess Streeter Aldrich, 'Pat of Silver Bush', 'Mistress Pat', 'The Story Girl', and 'The Golden Road' all by L. M. Montgomery. And I am in the middle of 'Life, the Universe, and Everything' by Douglas Adams and 'The Outlaws of Sherwood' by Robin McKinley
    And I feel like there was something else... but I'm not sure.

  3. Oh dearest, that song is so absolutely beautiful :) I was wondering if you have the music sheets, and if you do, could you e-mail them to me? I find it so enchanting, I'd very much like to play it too, on the piano. ♥
